I have never really heard of anyone using them for VPS hosting before, Prob would not be someone I host with as I tried there oversold webhosting a year or two ago and that was not good.

Hello I am currently renting a server from OVH, I notice that 2-3 times a month we will experience downtime due to the fact the network our server is on ends up getting attacked. I am wondering if anyone can fill me in on the sites or services the exchanges use to stay online and have a secure server. I can tell you I pay now about $60 US a month for the server and we pay for Cloudflare Pro as well. I am seeing allot of big sites going with Amazon any tips would be appreciated

I recommend you to use this website http://www.hosting24.com/ with cPanel , It has CloudFlare all it needs they are also ddos protected by them selfs .
I was with them for about 2 months and never got my forum down , not even for a second . they offer the best support and you get quick answers on the Ticket system. also Sometimes they do your work instead of you (transfering files etc .. to other providers)

They don't accept Bitcoin as payment method tho , only Verified/Unverified Paypal accounts & Credit Cards I believe
Hope this helped  Cool

For unmanaged VPS hosts, DigitalOcean is always one of top choices. It has proved itself to be a reliable VPS host. Vultr was established just about 8 months ago, however, its specifications look pretty good. If you don’t want to sign up with DigitalOcean for any reason, Vultr is a good alternative. RamNode is the best choice if you are looking for some low-end box offers.
For managed VPS hosts, consider the offers from WiredTree and KnownHost if you have a limited budget. LiquidWeb is a much larger company and its plans usually cost a bit more than the rest. In return, it’s plans include generous disk space and transfer. LiquidWeb’s technical support is also excellent and it promises that any questions will be responded within 59 seconds.

No need to be sorry, just none of the sites mentioned would be useful, None can be trusted with what I am looking for that is why i am trying to find out what site most of the exchanges use but there ip's are masked with cloudflare like mine.

I'd recommend you have a look at http://lowendbox.com as they've got many good VPS Services options.

As to specific services I'd highlight https://libertyvps.net and http://www.qhoster.com/vps.html which are good services with the advantage that they accept cryptocurrencies as payment method.

Thanks I have tried qhoster before and did not have any problems with it but would not use it on anything with large amount of funds on it. Anyone here ever use amazon or have known someone who has and had a good experience.

Reportedly bitstamp is using at least some of AWS now.  (https://www.bitstamp.net/article/bitstamp-is-open-for-business-better-than-ever/).  I have a non Bitcoin related server there at AWS EC2 (for 7-8 years now) and while not the least expensive, is quite reliable. (I also have a non Bitcoin server at both digitalocean and Rackspace and have been happy with both of them).

For Bitcoin, there are always risks for not doing your own hosting on your own machine(s).

I really liked www.bsdvm.com
They worked pretty well for what I used them for.
I get nothing for this just saying.. Although I should see if there is a referral because I thought about
getting another one off them lately.

The New World Order thanks you for your support of Bitcoin and encourages your continuing support so that they may track your expenditures easier.
