A newbie running a ponzi with inspiration from cryptodouble.
Why is this so legit.
I don't know that the fact that I am a "newbie" to this site, and happen to be a computer programmer that saw people playing CryptoDouble (I was one of them) like it was the second coming, has to do with the legitimacy of my site, but I can understand your skepticism.
Legitimacy of any game can only be proven if the rules of any game are clearly documented and followed. Perhaps it would be better to wait and see if that happens before passing judgement. I didn't try to reinvent the wheel with this game, but what I did do was try to add some twists to it to make it stand apart from the 24 Hour, 100 Hour, Weekly, and Monthly games that are prevalent on this site.
- As long as people are playing a given game the game continues. When it is clear (having more than 24 hours pass without a deposit) the game comes to an end, but not without giving the current players the change to extend the game.
- Online help that can assist if there are issues
- A facebook page and twitter account that can be used for communicating the start and end of games
One regret I have experienced was that the original announcement being in all text. As such, I felt it was necessary to continuously update it and posted changes I was making as separate entries in my thread. Among other things, this was deemed to be "bump spam" and resulted in a 5 day suspension from the site as well as a delay to the response to your question.
All things being said, I am committed to seeing this through. I would like to thank whomever
