Hello fellows,

This could be a stupid question but I got 5 kW free energy @home (unfortunately not able to get more solar energy that's all I have) and have no money limit, what I should buy? Should I built a gpu rig for neoscrypt or other algorithms or should I go with ASIC and if the answer is ASIC which machine I should choose. Want to make maximum profit with existing infrastructure of course if it is still possible to make profit from mining Smiley

Thanks again for reading and thanks for answers

Is that 5KW peak, or 5KW continuous (24-hour average)?

Cool, quiet and up to 1TH pod miner, on sale now!
Currently in development - 200+GH USB stick; 6TH volt-adjustable S1/3/5 upgrade kit
Server PSU interface boards and cables. USB and small-scale miners. Hardware hosting, advice and odd-jobs. Supporting the home miner community since 2013 - http://www.gekkoscience.com

It is continuous but that's all I have, cant get 5.1 kW, and wanna make fastest ROI possible

Just a random question..

How is it continous? - afaik (and I wasnt too good with the sun n stuff in school) the sun isnt shining 24/7 all year long..

That being said, Bitmain and SPTech is for sure your best bet.

The system runs off of batteries at night I'd imagine.

8 x AntMiner S5 (9,200 Gh/s) that can be overclocked to 368.75M = 9,680 Gh/s (or 9 down clocked to 325M = 9,630 Gh/s).

Yes, due to reason I just want to ask is it being more logical to buy gpu(s) instead of ASIC miner at least I am able to sell GPU(s) or use them for my own personal needs

And yes, the reason of strict 5 kW restrictions is system batteries not the solar panels and I don't know much about solar panels as well

Wondering where your location is? If you were close by to me I would supply the miners and split the profit with you.

If I were to make a list about worst place to live, probably Turkey would be in top 10 just after Iraq and Afghanistan:) You are lucky, living in UK should be like living in a dream. I was working in USA, but after my company make an agreement with Turkish government, sentenced to live here for another year(I am Turk right, best candidate to work there). The only good thing is I am able to sell BTC with much better price (local exchange price is good) and of course free electricity

The closest ASIC manufacturer to you geographically is http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/collections/products, in Israel (suggested by RoadStress in a previous post).
If your solar system is a standard grid-tie system, you need to factor the times that the sun is not providing you power.  I assume that 5 KW is the 'nominal' power, you can get an estimate of what it would actually produce by looking at actual systems in your region at (http://www.pvoutput.org/).  Unfortunately such systems deliver the full nominal output only for brief times.

Cheers

Since he's close to the Aegean sea wouldn't technobit.eu in Bulgaria be the closest one?!?

And PS.:

Technobit's the only company that's actively screwed me over. I guess most of their products exist and ship, but those Minion boards are going on five months late with no communication. For what it's worth, I don't trust them.

Yes, tons of scam site exist. I don't understand why as well. Is it that difficult to hold your promises and deliver on time.
