I always thought we wasted our belly buttons. They are portals into our blood stream, why can't someone with a bad liver or something just hook up to someone with a good one to metabolize all the crap in their blood? Or just a liver in a jar, via the belly button.

Louise Brown was born without a belly button due to the fact that she was the first test tube baby. Since then, millions have been born without this feature.

Quote
In 2004, Louise married nightclub doorman Wesley Mullinder. Dr. Edwards attended their wedding. Their son Cameron, conceived naturally, was born on 20 December 2006.

Thus, Cameron has a belly button.

An truly informed comment that somehow resonates with your avatar.

Louise Brown was the first test tube baby.
Test tube babies are conceived and grow in a test tube.
Test tube babies don't have embryological cords.
Embryological cords are a required aspect for one to have a belly button.
Ergo, Louise Brown doesn't have a belly button.

QED

Now, take the lint out from your smelly inny, roll a blunt, and smoke it!

I get the impression that the thread title should have been "I got a package in the mail today."

Either artful trollin, either a poor attempt at poetry, either you're truly deluded.
I can't tell which is which.
At any rate, your second and third statements are incorrect.

But if I juxtapose the second and third line, that would ruin its meter unless, of course, I add in some onomatopoeia.

Seriously, since 1979 I've mention the false anatomical anomaly to others, and they would more often than not reply with, "That makes sense." I would get a similar response twice a year during the summer and winter solstice when I explain to the mark how the government has the time change thing ass-backwards. If they added an hour in the winter, oppose to taking it away, the days wouldn't be as cold. I further explain that the US is the only country in the world that does this and that two major wars were fought to try to have the US change its policy. They assume incorrectly that I was speaking of WWI & II, although the correct answer is none. I've even asked the same people the following: Is the Earth closest and nearest the sun during the winter (asked of US citizens in the US), whereupon 95%+ answer incorrectly. I had one kid state that he hadn't learned that in school yet. I asked what grade he was in. He said that he was a senior. I have a nephew that can't read a measuring tape, although he brags to others that he builds furniture. You'll won't believe what word he can't spell--knob.

People are dumb. Don't believe me? Head on over to Newbie and see who's the latest mark that got scammed via a Newbie scammer. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if somebody read my first post on this thread and now thinks that I truly am a genius and a real alpaca that practices medicine on top of that.
