Green bar certs can be quite expensive per year just so you know ahead of time ha ha. We do offer them just not on our site yet, probably sometime this week.

There are two certs that can do this for you that we offer, both are EV certs:
COMODO EV SSL Certificate = $200 a year
GeoTrust True BusinessID with Extended Validation (EV) = $185 a year

Both are extended validation certs and have that green bar thing you want Wink

It all depends on what exactly you are using them for as to which one is for you. Will it be used on multiple domains or subdomains? Will it be used on multiple servers? What is the value of what you are selling, so we can check warranty of the certs? Etc. Smiley

Any valid certificate from a recognized issuance authority will make the https:// green, provided you have only secure elements called on the page. However if you are looking for your company name to show up as it does on say https://blockchain.info, you need SSL with extended validation. GeoTrust True BusinessID with Extended Validation is $299 oven directly from geotrust. Jfreak for 185 are you referencing GeoTrust True BusinessID with Extended Validation or just GeoTrust True BusinessID, as there is a considerable price difference?

I know, we offer GeoTrust True BusinessID with Extended Validation for $185 a year Wink We have the best prices in the industry on certs Wink

And actually not ALL certificates will show a green bar, you have to have a cert that supports it. Now a green icon yes, all do if all elements of the form are under the SSL. But a green bar requires an EV cert. You can tell this by going to our site at:
https://clients.microtronix-tech.com

We don't use EV, no need for it really, no green bar just green icon Wink

Now mind you I should state this, I forgot in the original post. EV certs can take anywhere from 1 to 10 business days to activate! Smiley So please if your going to order it do it with time to spare as it can take quite sometime to issue Smiley

Green bar explanation:
http://www.geotrust.com/ssl/extended-validation-ssl/

As you can see we even have cheaper prices than them Wink

As a heads up, I just ordered a SSL-certificate through microtronix-tech.com, but was unable to complete the config procedure because of an error message on their part (already paid through bitpay), I've sent support a ticket, and hope the issue will be resolved shortly. Just as a heads up for anyone needing to set up an SSL-certificate immediately.
