Same, why would one need an invite to join the site anyway?

To the OP, I'd just suggest waiting on the freenode chat for a bit until someone does eventually comes on. It doesn't seem they have a lot of members (compared to BCT).

To everyone else, it's where some of the true bitcoin believers (cultist or w/e other word you'd like to use) are hanging out without all the forum trolls that now flood this place.
