I am looking for someone to write a simple python program for me.

1st phase:
I would like the program to access cryptsy btc/usd market and write time/date, bid, ask & last  - values every 5 sec to csv file.  file name change each day.

2nd phase would be to add code to use cryptsy api to buy & sell bitcoin.

pm me if you are interested.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I have some javascript that's already doing the order book part. I'm not a fan of Python, but feel free to get in touch if you ever drop that requirement.

Cheers.

How much are you paying for phase 1?
This project will be a little more in detail than what I describe here but this is what I would like to do to start:

I would like to have the py program collect BTC/USD data from Cryptsy and write a csv file:

Date/Time                      Last       Ask         Bid
1-20-2015  18:20:00      210.50   212.25  209.25
1-20-2015  18:20:05      210.70   212.25  209.25

every 5 sec or as often as Cryptsy updates.
Program will create a new file at midnight say 01Jan2015.csv.

There will be a little more work after this, but for now you can send me a pm of how much you would want to write this simple program.  After this first part I was thinking we could just do a pay as we go type work.  I would send new requests, new changes with bill, I send some btc and repeat until project is finished.  This will not be very complicated for someone with some experience.

Please send me a pm if you are interested.  Again, just send me a PM.  Thank you.
