If you voted for >30 I have a bridge to sell you. LOL I think it will be on target for ~12 USD, if it makes ~30 at the end of the year I will be cashing out.
Here's the thing: right now Bitcoin isn't useful for anything mainstream that can't be done even better by PayPal. It's not that it can't be, it just that nothing is developed yet. The first major mainstrem adoption of Bitcoin as a replacement for credit cards or PP will put Bitcoin on the map. You may be right in the fact that nothing will be developed even by the end of year, but I am optimistic that something will. Maybe even Matthew will come out with something legit.

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.
