Here in the lofty clouds of our Emerald Xanthian Atmosphere, our people don't require sleep nor sustenance to continue enjoying our multiple-POV lives simultaneously-experienced through a variety of physical avatars & virtual reality icons. When one of these bodies age, we simply replace it with a fresher clone. Nietzsche’s philosophy contemplates the meaning of values and their significance to human existence. Given that no absolute values exist, in Nietzsche’s worldview, the evolution of values on earth must be measured by some other means. How then shall they be understood? The existence of a value presupposes a value-positing perspective, and values are created by human beings (and perhaps other value-positing agents) as aids for survival and growth. Because values are important for the well being of the human animal, because belief in them is essential to our existence, we oftentimes prefer to forget that values are our own creations and to live through them as if they were absolute. For these reasons, social institutions enforcing adherence to inherited values are permitted to create self-serving economies of power, so long as individuals living through them are thereby made more secure and their possibilities for life enhanced. Nevertheless, from time to time the values we inherit are deemed no longer suitable and the continued enforcement of them no longer stands in the service of life. To maintain allegiance to such values, even when they no longer seem practicable, turns what once served the advantage to individuals to a disadvantage, and what was once the prudent deployment of values into a life denying abuse of power. When this happens the human being must reactivate its creative, value-positing capacities and construct new values.

Why must one’s survival mechanisms be construed as anything but? (How is it that one can debate something so arbitrary as ethics?)

The point is that there are other 'bubbles' to pursue than just crypto & bitcoin. Space development, biotech including life extension & neuro-interfacing, quantum computing and nanoscalar physics & robotics all have astronomical growth potential to just completely unravel existing industries and thus elevate people who invest in these fields early on, to even grander levels of epic success than those who mined BTC back in 2010 & held the coins.

The greatest invention Satoshi blessed us with is blockchain technology - not merely bitcoin. Thus, it's quite conceivable that this grand monetary experiment just might not, in the end, conquer the hurdles of achieving mass public usage, while it's broader underlying technological base - the blockchain - may yet certainly end up of even greater utility to power the systems our future societies will use.

People who are sun gazers say they get more energy from sun gazing. Some claim they don't have to eat after they have been sun gazing for a long time.

The fear we have of sun gazing is, we just might destroy our eyes at the same time we are gaining the energy from sun gazing. After all, doctors tell us that looking at the sun has harmful effects on our eyes. We can go blind.

Sun gazers say that eyes get used to it if we do it a little bit at a time. Start out when the sun is low in the sky - just after sunrise or just before sunset - only for a peek at the sun. Every day do it a little longer. Supposedly, the eyes will build up resistance to harmful sun radiation.

Who has the patience to follow through, day after day with this?

I was thinking that there might be a better way. Use a welding helmet. After all, you can go out and look at the sun through a welding helmet without harming the eyes. You might not gain the full benefits of sun gazing, but you just might get enough benefits that you will notice a difference in health.

Please research this before you do it. If you start doing it, and you start using a welding helmet, please post results. Results might even be better, because you could be looking at the sun at noon with the helmet, rather than at the times of sunrise or sunset when it is much dimmer.

In fact, for sunbathers, this would work out well. They could get their tan at the same time they are doing their sun gazing, while they are lying out on the sandy beach, facing the sun. However, you might look kind of funny wearing a welding helmet at the beach.
