is it ok just to leave your vpn on your iPhone all the time ? I just have it automatically connect
I don't see a problem with that, as long as your VPN is trustworthy.

ApronVPN and protoVPN are the best ones I've ever used so far. I also tried ZenMate but I didn't like it.

Watch out for Mysterium, a new company that launched a cryptocurrency, wanting to create a decentralized VPN.

I recommend Nord VPN.

Seconded.  They fight the fight with the streaming services well - h*lu recently figured out a way to block them, but Nord knows international streaming is important to their client base and in a few weeks had it working again.

VPN is worth paying a bit for, I doubt the free ones have the incentive to keep the streaming services working as well.

Not sure about Nord's logging policies, so can't speak too that.  I don't use them for anything embarrassing so am not too fussed about it.

I have been using a public VPN for a long time now and recently so many people have been using it so I want to know which are the best VPN? or should I just buy a private one?

You can try searching for Firefox or Chrome VPNs. They have many to choose from in their extensions store. Some of them need to register for accounts and are pretty good.
