So, since the source code to the original Bitcoinica.com is available on the internet, there's nothing to stop you from whipping together your very own Litecoinica! I know there's a lot of Bad publicty going around these days for Bitconica, but hey as PT Barnum said, "A fool and his money..." no, sorry I mean "No Publicity is Bad Publicity!"
With the extreme volatility of the LTC market, it's a great chance to build a service that lets users gamble invest their hard-mined LTC.
Conditions of sale are that you don't f* up and run away with everyones money or let someone else do the same.
I'm accepting LTC and BTC.
Make me an offer I can't refuse!
Seriously though, I'll sell it for the right price.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

How about calling it tardcoinica and accepting bitcoins and all alts. Instead of the usual deposit and withdraw buttons it could have deposit and 'steal my funds' buttons. It's basically Zhou Tong's plan but accepting alts too.

It's true. No time like the present huh? I'm surprised someone didn't think of it sooner myself.

To be honest- it was a shame what happened with Bitcoinica, but the service idea was good. No reason why someone couldn't make the same for Litecoin. And run it properly. :-)

I think you must wait 2 months after registration date before you can transfer a .com domain. Ofcourse I may be confusing this with a specific registrar policy.

That's correct, ICANN requires 60 days, although some registrars allow transfers between users on their own systems without such a limit.

It's true. No time like the present huh? I'm surprised someone didn't think of it sooner myself. hehe, apparently i thought of it on the 4th but didn't purchase... quoted from the LTC PPT thread: it would be good if deposit/withdrawal was in LTC, but you just have to manage the exchange risk somehow.
...and that would all be a lot easier if there was a litcoinica.com for shorting LTC.
perhaps you didn't find this in a forum search because i forgot the e.
