Hi everyone, I am looking to buy mining hardware in bulk sale. I am talking to some manufacturers and I can get some pretty good price per TH/s with shipping to Canada. However, I'm also willing to buy used stock for those who wants to liquidate their operations. Here are my buying rates (February 19 2015) with shipping paid by seller to Joliette, Quebec, J6E8E3: - (Without PSU): 190 USD / TH.s^-1 - (With PSU (S4, SP31, SP35) or external): 250 USD / TH.s^-1 Shipping: - Shipping to Canada may be expensive, but there are ways to make it less painful. - Shop your prices from many suppliers. I think USPS would be best in your case. I know that if I ship with Paypal, the fees tends to be lower. - Try to put at least 30 kg of stock in the same boxes. Buy new boxes if needed. Cost per kg could be 40% cheaper this way! - For large orders and reasonable fee, I may be able to drive to Plattsburgh and pick them there. You could ship them to this UPS Store http://plattsburgh-ny-6270.theupsstorelocal.com/products--services/package-receiving-services and it could be a lot cheaper. The fee for this service would be 100 USD + 5 USD / package. Sellers: You can coordinate yourself to send your package at the same time and split the 100 USD fixed fee. Reputation: - I want to pay with Paypal since it offers buyer protection. I won't do escrow since it doesn't solve the problem and expose ourself to another unknown party. Those are my terms, you are not forced to deal with me if you disagree with the use of Paypal, so please, don't get irritated by the existence of this post.- All I can do is trying to be transparent and you can judge by my Internet presence if it's worth the risk. Hopefully, I'll gain some reputation on this forum so it will become less an issue. - eBay profile: http://www.ebay.ca/usr/maximeadThank you,

Since you have no trust and are a brand new user you're likely going to have a difficult time getting anyone here to let you pay via PayPal, and you're highly unlikely to find anyone willing to ship to you first.
I have 11.4TH of Antminer S3s with PSUs that I could sell you, but I'd need payment up front in BTC or we'd need to use escrow.

Hi quakefiend420,
Since I pay with Paypal, you will receive the funds before shipping. The only thing is that I am eligible for buyer's protection from Paypal. So, if things go wrong and you don't ship, there can be a chargeback.
I won't do payment upfront in BTC.
Thank you,

And if things go right and we do ship you can still perform a chargeback and rip someone off. There's many reasons this whole Bitcoin thing even exists, and PayPal's shoddy business practices is just one small one. If you're not willing to trust a known escrow or a known trader on here with tons of successful trades, why should anyone be willing to trust you?

Max, since you're a new member without any trust rating i would suggest you use an escrow like OGNasty. Not only you'll able to create you some trust on this forum but it will also protect yourself and the seller at the same time. It's a win-win situation Just my 2 cents Good luck !

Hi quakefiend413 and HerbPean, Yes, I know escrow are quite popular here! Paypal is also some kind of escrow, just saying! I may revise my position and accept escrow service in the future once I evaluate them. But for now, I will work with Paypal ! Thank you for the advice,

Thank you for the advice, They are, sort of...but it's pretty common knowledge that they basically always side with the buyer, no matter what. Even in the face of overwhelming evidence it takes an act of congress to get them to agree with a seller if there's a dispute. Many of us who trade a lot have been burned by PayPal in the past even when we were obviously in the right. I accept it as payment occasionally from members here, but only if they have a solid reputation. Not trying to crap on your thread, but since you're new I thought I'd explain a bit about how and why we do things around here! Good luck finding your gear!

Hi,
I'm hearing you. I would accept to use an established escrow for a 4% fee for the inconvenience. Original post is updated.
Thank you,

No, you lost the opportunity to buy mine when you wanted to impose a ridiculous 4% fee to use an escrow when you have 1 post and no feedback whatsoever. Get real.

Hi quakefiend420,
I cannot not charge for escrow as I currently have sellers willing to sell through Paypal directly. That would be unfair to them. Those are my terms and I understand some may disagree with them.
I encourage you, however, to continuously take a look at this post since I'm planning to update my rates weekly.
Thank you, Maxime

I'll let all those sellers beating down your door to use PayPal send you hardware, I'll pass. Good luck.

JESUS CHRIST!!!!!
Listen NOBODY will ACCEPT PAYPAL as a PAYMENT because there are TONS of PAYPAL SCAMS out there.
Even sellers on eBay which claims to have Seller Protection are scared to sell with Paypal because usually when there is a chargeback they usually end up losing money.
You BEST suggestion is to buy LOCALLY on Kijiji or Craiglists. Mining equipment is HEAVY and shipping will up the prices.

So you only take PayPal because of buyer protection, and then suggest an option that invalidates buyer and seller protection.. Well thought out..

What do you mean?
Buyer and seller protection are only valid if shipped to the verified address on the Paypal account, alternative shipping invalidates the policy... Frankly I'd rather sell to you via Paypal that way with documentation from you of alternative shipping arrangements since I don't need to worry about you trying to use buyer protection..
