Hey guys

I have my gaming computer that could be mining at night and also give me some heat this winter.

I need to know which algo is more profitable (if), and what and where do you recommend me to mine

Thank you in advance

Any more suggestions? As time goes on, its getting difficult to mine new coins since most of them are premined nowadays.
Maybe someone can suggest which cloud mining can be good to mine other alt coins?

best heaters are scrypt-n and quark. You need a good optimized miner. But only a heater, no profit as with all other algos Wink

I suggest Karma coin. I know its rather to cheap buy that coin now, but the coin value will surely rise in few months.

i do porbbably advise you to get a good look at the watts in a plug you can find for that cpu with gpu to see if goes like 300 watts and that can take like 80 cents per day of eletrecity if you dont have a roi daily of lets say of 1 euro per day like 0.00300000  satoshis of dark i dont advise losing money in mining with GPU stick to games Smiley.

Spreadcoin? Somewhat profitable. XMG for the CPU?

You left neoscrypt? Since the announcement? My rigs still mining that, but my gaming pc needs something else. What about x11 on a multipool or something, any recommendations?

There is a new mining asset class for CPU and GPU miners, Nxt MSCoins (MS = Monetary System). Also called 'sub-currencies' as above (and a few others at the moment until one name beds in  Grin )

Someone is making ~$26/day (less electricity), check the blockchain for yourself Grin. If you need NXT for paying fees, these can be mined at hashrate.org

X11 is pretty bad, Neo hasn't made me anything in a long time. Spread and NXT's sub-currencies are nice, though.

Daedelus and you recommend nxt derivatives so lets check it, has someone tried? Never had any NXT

Post in the thread if you have any problems, there a 5-6 people keeping an eye out to support new users.

MSCoins were only launched on the 10th January so there are still a lot of new people finding their feet.

I'm having fun with that Java miner before I eventually gut it and make it a real application - well, if I have time.

Great, let me know if you get something up and running.
