Why else would you send a newbie, probably a scammer free money ? You are also giving other people intentions to open up similar threads and spam the forums.

1: I'll authorize an IP check to dispute any ideas that I'm the account I just sent BTC to.

2: If I give charity, that's my call. I certainly won't dish out ~$3 USD to any old newbie that cries "Halp", but I'm not opposed to the occasional hand-out if I've been doing well (And I have been).

3: I genuinely didn't feel like handing over PayPal info and initiating a transfer of funds for $3 USD.

Sometimes I just like to encourage the pay it forward attitude. If it works, great. If it doesn't, I'm just out $3. I spent that on two bowls of ramen today.

ps: Sorry for the bad english, I'm from Quebec and my first language if French, I still try my best

(The reason I needed the 0.011 is because I had 0.0993 BTC and needed 0.1 to get some tools for the software I'm working on, i'll probably post soon to show everyone here how it will work and when it'll be released, but for now I need money to code it, ahah!)

Helping someone in need is a good thing, but it shouldnt be encouraged as people will tend to become lazy free loaders than hardworking laborers. ~3USD isnt a big amount, I can earn that in 60 seconds, though I dont think every one is like me but if someone spends 60 minutes TRYING to earn that money then that'll be a step towards a better future and probably gain enough experience to earn many times ~3USD.

So let me just say it, what you did was idiotic.

Investment and handouts are 2 different things and I am not the average BTC user that loathes every new BTC related thing out there. But I'll keep an eye out.

And my point is, you could have earned $3 but you chose to take a donation and by looking at you OTHER people will try to do the same. Its like a viral disease.

You got a point there, next time i'll go ahead and make a thread for the software and just add a link, it'll prevent other newbies like me to come and beg like I did instead of asking donations so I can continue the development of my software, with good arguments.
