Congratulations. I've seen a thread where somebody showed their wallets and came to conclusion they've been dumping BTC on exchanges since December (court ruling). They are probably planning to refund more people in time.

Congratulations but I believe you will be only one of the few who actually get a refund and even fewer who made an ROI.

My US$65,716 refund hit the bank 2014/05/07.  2 separate 1.5TH/s minirigs ordered in March/April 2013 upgraded to 2 x 7 Monarchs.  I didn't think too long after being offered the refund to take it.

I ordered a monach for $2250 & asked for a refund to be denied..

Then put in a queue only to be jumbled all over the shop..

I ended up bartering with them as they said they were refunding people with under $1000 first.

I ended up taking a 544gh one year contract for $1495 & they refunded me 3.0 btc for the remaining money...

As i said i had to barter to get the refund at the same time... They initially said no to this idea & i said no refund no mining contract...

They caved in a week later when i badgered them about trying to do the right thing..

In Australian dollars 3.0 btc was $930.00 dollars & on the contract i expect to get 1.0btc if im lucky...

So i got $1200 austrailan in total, I just wanted to cut my losses...

Getting a refund can be done in a few ways as it seems..

The number one is paypal if u paid that way...

Next will depend on how much ur owed, How u paid them & how u want a refund...

They say they are going to pay cash refunds but im yet to hear of one??

If ur less than $1000 u should have been refunded already if not email them & ask whats going on??

If its over $1000.00 as them what position in the queue u are to see how long roughly that will take..

One option is like i did, Opt for a mining contract & hope to get as much as u can back & take the rest in a btc refund

Or take butterfly labs hardware & sell it to someone else who knows someone might pay u good money for it if not u could mine with it & take the remainder refund in BTC..

Lots of people have lots of stories about how to get it done these are a few, a few people are too embarrassed to talk about the BFL experience... I took a 40% loss to get out, Let us all know how u go!

I got one for 550  so I think I lost under 100.  My refund came in 2014 about 15 months late.
