make a .bat file and put it in the same folder as cgminer.exe and name it something like launchBBQSolo.bat in the file put something to this effect: cgminer --scrypt -o localhost:19323 -u username -p password --shaders 2048 --intensity 12 --worksize 256 -g 1 Change the shaders to the amount of shaders your GPU has. And you can mess with the intensity as well but I found 12 works best if you want to use your computer while mining. Save it as a .bat, not a .txt file. Then just double click that .bat file to start mining. With BBQ you will still probably get a few rejects, I know that's what happens with me. I think it's because of the low hash rate and low difficulty. Thank you very much.

So I poked around with solo mining BBQcoin a bit, as I've never tried solo mining any coin before, and I found that almost every block that I found is listed in the transaction log as "generated but not accepted" with 0 confirmations. I've also found that the BBQ client runs with 8-11 peer connections if I am not solo mining, but drops to 0-1 connections once I start mining. Can anyone explain what is going on?

Why do I find so many blocks, but my computer seems to ignore most of them? So glad that you have been able to get solo mining. This is such a nice coin to solo mine right now but enjoy it while it lasts. In the next month or so BBQcoin will be going on a pool and after than an exchange.

I can find blocks with my single GPU. Also how much bit coin would 1 million BBQ coin be worth? I was into dev coins for a while and I wanted to get 10 million of them before the price really increased, but I lucked out.

last trade rate for BQC/BTE is around 200 not 1000, and I gladly trade you on that ratio. [0.5BTC for 100k in bqc trade thread, 0.001 BTE actual market price for BTE]

Why is the bbqcoin github talking about litecoins? https://github.com/Cubox-/BBQCoin/tree/master/docIs https://github.com/Cubox-/BBQCoin/ the official bbqcoin tree? I have only 3 connections at the moment and 86424 blocks downloaded, but the difficulty is at 0.00006395? How is this possible? Is bbqcoin a scrypt based coin, which was forked from litecoin? EDIT: I am now at 0 connections about 1 hour later. Does anybody know the default port for bbqcoin?
