Interviewed in Kerry Lutz's Financial Survival podcast:

Trace Mayer – BitCoin The People’s New World Currency

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

This is a pretty good interview. This is the 2nd time I've heard him say that you could "compromise the code" with a majority of mining power. Hopefully someone corrects him on this before he does another interview.

if you're making most of the blocks you could rewrite the code and make your own blocks using it

Nice interview. Trace Mayer's guide to not making newbie mistakes with bitcoin sucked though. He's got a little too much marketeer DNA in him, but he did well in this interview.
