BTC vs Price/Gallon Gas in US

I would not and do not think these two are related, but I have noticed trend over last few months that BTC seems to be following the price per Gallas here in USA almost it seems... Im not very techy and cant produce graphs and all that for you, but I do know when BTC was in the 600-1000's I was paying 4-5$ per gallon and when it was 500-300 I was paying 2-3$ Gallon and when it dropped to almost and dipped lil under 200 I paying less than 2 per gallon... I havent looked b BTC price 3 days it goes up 18 dollars and Gas also went up 18 cents/gallon... is it all in my head or is there something connecting the two?

Probably coincidental, but maybe there's some "hive" ebb and flow of the human race based on unknown social factors / time of year that can come into play with these types of things.   Probably not in this case, but who knows.

now with price of bitcoin spiking so fast over night in morning i will double check the gas prices and see if there was movement there too... if so i really wanna know how these are related
