Make it fun. Try not to convince people based on the idea that it can be used as investment. Not everybody, i mean seriously not everyone is interested when they hear that. Instead put focus on facebook. If people post some interesting link or funny pictures or even jokes, tip them and have them know about bitcoin.

1. Stable. Merchants will not take the risk of falling coin.
2. Safe. Big reliable payment processors, insurance against scams.
3. Simple. A way to use it as simple as the credit cards. No multi sig, no 100 chr password or account to type, no odd software that can be cloned by a scammer to steal your coins.

Let's be honest, to make it popular, bitcoin needs crazy valuation growth like seen in the end of 2013. Just look at Google Trends data for "bitcoin" during that period. That's the proof.

Lost of confidence in fiat currencies. I can't see how this will be even possible when all the big corporations take big credits from the banks to cover expenses and annual losses in profit to stay in business. |

when people can easily have it and use it. And realize that Bitcoin is really better and cheaper than alternatives.
Now people either don't even try or when try and find it not useful because the acceptance is low, so they think that Bitcoin is worse and more expensive than paypals and credit cards

It is lacking the support from the gov. If the gov is open and further more support it. Ppl has no concern of adopting it.

one word: profit When people can make profit, they'll run for it. When it's unprofitable like last year they don't care. Nobody is interested in loosing investements. |

None of things that you just said , People won't get interessted on this digital currency unless they stop thinking on it as a currency for Illegal things only & think of it as scam/fraud . It dosen't matter how much company start accepting it . Time will change the look of people to Bitcoin & time only |
