Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Very nice and novel idea.

However I expect some people to be reluctant in accepting coins when they see 'some kind of sticker' on it.
Its is worth the risk and effort, though.

UK (Royal Mint) about putting them on Coins:
http://www.royalmintmuseum.org.uk/FAQRetrieve.aspx?ID=49899

Dutch National Government about puting them on Euros:

For what we know it is the same story for the US. Governments do not like it, but it's absolutely not illegal. Perfect for a piece of disruptive technology such as Bitcoin!

Might it be the case that you become scared within 30 days after purchase, you're always free to send 'm back.
