CN is the socks blowing stuff in itself and the leading developing of today is happening in the Monero project, you cant blame the smart money to investing in the best.

Well, I will give you that there is more visible development on Monero than probably any other CN out there. And the devs post more on this forum (If not in this thread!  Shocked)

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Don't confuse underlying coin tech with pump-and-dumpers, angry gambler coinahaulics, scamonomists, and sock kiddies.  Cryptonote is worth a look.
