It was a very strong week after hitting the new alleged bottom. The lunar announcements caused people to panic-buy even more coins. It's just a strong upswing and a correction was inevitable. That's how markets work. Nothing new Smiley

It went up over 3 days from a low of $230 to a high of $309.  There's obviously going to be a correction.

I agree with this. It would be nice though if btc stabilizes around 300 due to the difficulty. It will make cloud mining profitable again

I think the really scammy cloud mining companies need to be wiped out first. AMHash seems to be reliable and profitable, but others are calling it quits. We need services that are trustworthy in the Bitcoin world. $300 is a nice number, though - I agree Smiley

It's a free market, that's the beauty of Bitcoin.

If people think Bitcoin is worth $500 then it's worth $500.

If people think Bitcoin is worth $150 then it's worth $150.

WE decide the price. If the time is right and people are willing to pay extra for their coins then it will go up automatically.

More down than up unfortunately, there seems no good reason why the price should fall below last weeks levels, but that isn't to say it won't
