This short blog post outlines a way to collect and display article summaries for readers using a widget on article pages.
...
The name ....com unfortunately is already registered.
I'm definitely interested to hear people's thoughts.

So all you need is someone else to program it for you and someone else to pay for the programmers. So where would you come in?

He maintains the vision, design and the financial backing.

He maintains the vision, design and the financial backing. Somebody did the financial backing. Somebody else did the hacking. He's just an ideaman, who is worthless. He have some programming skill, so he isn't entirely worthless. Anybody can have a "brilliant idea" and a "vision", but can you survive at time self-doubt, loss of willpower, and intense negative feedback? Idea thinking is the first step in a long marathon. (Witness http://bitcoinweekly.com as it survives high turnover of employees/freelancers, editor resignation, one pdf and two sites and the founder's resignation from The Bitcoin Times)

Somebody has to manage all the parts in the equation. You don't have to have any software skills to launch a great application. You just need to know how to delegate. This is really a skill unto itself.

Speaking of delegation, I don't man the editor post anymore. Mostly, I advertise their articles and write the codebase that let my writers do their work.

what about adding another dimension to this; letting people write these summaries in other languages? for example if you don't speak english natively it might be quite handy to see a summary in your own language before you slog through it. hmmm?

Terribly rude, aren't you meant to moderate? Or do do abusive insults as well do it for you?
That's a business valuation, not a personal insult. I considered people who plays with only ideas, totally worthless as far as moneymaking goes.

I execute on my ideas. So don't call me worthless, buddy.
If you read the next phrase, I said "he isn't totally worthless" and provided a reason why I think that.

Got a better argument for that? The argument is that there are plenty wealthy and technical people around. The true great things happen when they are united by visionary people who don't know much about either but dare to dream

Supposedly, I lack visions/ideas. What does that entails? How do you know that I lack visions/ideas? (BTW, it's making enough money to finance writers and maybe a little side profit. Nefario was right. My magazine simply require times.)

Thank you. I'm working at it.
This is what I like to see. Execution. Everything is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration.
