They were discussing their new exchange, and of course CNBC brought up security.  I thought they addressed and redirected the question very well.  Stating the blockchain has "yet to be hacked" and that like large bank failures hacks and going out of business is "operator error".

Anyone else see it?

that video seems pretty old, they mentioned MtGox!

this should be the new one
http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000349624

funny the sentiment 90deg-turn that CNBC are doing on BTC, it used to be all 'ponzi' scheme last year, now its 'lets just discuss it'..

I wish they had stated how the blockchain is really beneficial, and how it can be used to make things like voting really fair.
Instea of just the exchange, they could also have added a pitch for bitcoin.

Good video. Nice to see they are supportive of Coinbase's new exchange. I think it shows they are in it for the right reasons. They also disclosed that they have not sold any of their bitcoins, ever. And that they have about 1% of all bitcoins.

Looking forward to Gemini and Coinbase to setup secured and insured exchanges.
Mt. Gox and Bitstamp hacking have hurt so many coiners,
preventing lots of guys from entering the bitcoin world.

Yes, but in terms of headlines, it was still pretty damaging.
