Using the same seed for Electrum and Electrum LTC?

Are there are security risks to using the same 12 word seed for Electrum (BTC) and Electrum LTC? What about other forks of Electrum such as Electrum-Doge? For example, I know that it's not a good idea to use the same passphrase for NXT and its clones since it is possible to execute an attack by analyzing the NXT clone's transaction and using it to force a transaction from NXT - resulting in the loss of NXT coins.

I know that I could just generate a new seed, but if it was possible to reuse the seed that I already have then that would be great since it would be one less thing to remember and potentially forget.

and to answer your question. i don't think it would have any security risk other than if you lose one you lose three wallets.

I thought of the same question earlier and No way I'm going to do that. Although a person might argue that both are two different programs but you will never know what is going to happen.

I would sacrifice convenience for the sake of security. For me, I really don't mind trying to remember another set of 12 seed words

There is no security issue, other than the fact that you might lose all of them if you lose the seed. But that should be a non issue.

It only makes sense to do this if you plan on using a single hardware wallet (like Trezor) for all of them.
