Lizard Squad may have hacked Facebook

Hacker collective Lizard Squad, which recently took down Malaysia Airlines website, hinted that they may have had something to do with the outage faced by Facebook and Instagram on Tuesday morning.

Facebook denies that the outage was caused by hackers, specifically Lizard Squad.

Guess we should wait 'till more info comes out.

they will keep denying even if clear proof is presented.

Not that I care a whole lot.

But it's unexpected though... So, what do you guys think happened? And do you even use Facebook?

They seem to be going to great pains to clarify that they were not under attack.

Well, that was just a fake tweet. Lizard Squad is just a bunch of punk kids, they can't hack a player as big as Facebook.

In fact Lizard Squad's own database was hacked by someone else
