Verification process European Deposit on MTGox

Hi there,

Till now I never had problems with depositing Euros to MtGox to swap them for Bitcoins.

It was always processed within 3 working days.
Recently, my last deposit is still not processed (more than 3 working days).
After contacting their support desk (https://support.mtgox.com/) I received their answer: "The deposits are delayed due to verification process and will be processed soon. "
I never had such process (I have committed my ID etc for verification when I joined MTGox).

Anyone else noticed a change in their policy regarding (European) deposits ?

Sorry for the delay!

Mark was in Poland last week in order to change a few things on how we handle SEPA Deposit and Withdrawals. These changes are made to help us to speed-up the overall process and help people to get or deposit fund faster (once done).

However and as you can image these changes have a direct impact on Deposits and Withdrawals. We are currently working on these change and we hope to get this resolve soon (before the end of this week).

Thanks for clarification. This hits very hard, especially I miss the complete rally from 6.84, which was the price of BTCEUR when I placed the deposit order. Now is BTCEUR is nearly 10. In a few days probably around 50. Its not the question if but when.

Just a little update on the situation

Deposit are now Fully Working.
Withdrawal are back but there are still some pending. It seems that you guys has been very active lately and we are finally catching up! So Bear with us a little longer

On behalf of all the Mt.Gox team I would like to apologize to you one more time and want to reassure you that we are working on this to make it as fast as before. Also we have plan to rework our Notification system with the possibility for people to opt-in/out of this system.
