You can read all about BFL at: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=150803.0 (or read the court documents you can find under the link in my sig.)

If you want to choose a trustworthy supplyer in the future look in this forum for several "trustworthiness/suppliers" guides in these forums before ordering...

Yesterday is ordered a miner at Butterfly Labs, but after i ordered it i read somewhere that Butterfly Labs cant be trusted.  Cry

so now i request a refund.  I'm afraid they will not pay me back.. Huh
what is your experience with butterfly labs?

Ahh, they are really bad company. Late shipping & didn't refund. You should read the forum before ordering.
If you pay using paypal, you can ask for refund. If pay using btc, i don't know what to say.

Well, on the up side, they are under close watch (see the other threads).  So if you have any issues, there's now plenty of places to complain to.  Keep in mind that you probably only think you paid in BTC, and any refund (if applicable) would be in fiat as appreciated at the time of purchase.

Not so sure about that. I would think with the companies legal issues they are being kept on a short leash... I am sure you will get your hardware, but just not sure it was a wise choice... Tongue

I ordered a jalapeno from BFL in May 2013.
It had an estimated ROI in 10 days!
WooFrickinHoo!

I cancelled the order after a few months of waiting - I had to do a reversal with PayPal in order to get it.

Unfortunately that BFL thread is really, really useless now. There are literally 100s of pages of hurr durr in there and that thread probably consists of most of GG's posts as the moderators saw it as unmoderatable.

Nevertheless I highly doubt OP's question would not have been answered there...

So now we have yet another BFL thread...

Ah, OK. Thanks,

But wouldn't worry too much about it then.

You should recieve them soon enough from stock...

Good luck!

PS. But for less than 2BTC you could have bought over 1TH in mining equipment from a more reputable company like Bitmaintech.

390 usd would get you 1150 th  free use of a psu and 1 months hosting time.

the following months would be about 43 usd a month to have it hosted.

Bad situation , try to request a refund and hope they will send the "money" back. The next time  ask here in the forum , and keep yourself informed.

Request your refund asap. You do not want those devices. They use way too much power. You'll only lose money by turning them on!

Now that BFL is under the watchful eye of the court, you can be assured that a request for a refund will actually be fulfilled. We can't say the same for many customers who were forced to accept hardware even though they requested a refund before with the phrase "All sales are final!"
