The fact that there is no clear reason, no clear media hype to blame it on, is actually a good thing. Most likely a big investor just decided it's time he got some of his value into bitcoins.

nothing changed in the comments section =) some people in 10 years will be saying same thing over and over while rest of the planet moves on to a new form of value exchange

Ten year is enough time to make wikipedia skeptics to go away. We just need ten years for bitcoin skeptics to go away too.
