swimming pool waterproofing

Hello everyone... just trying to find if anyone knows anything about swimming pool waterproofing.

that can be used in order to avoid serious damage to the structure of the pool. Has anyone done anything like that? I want to decorate my small swimming pool (actually little bigger than a fountain :p) and have the best waterproofing as well.
