Error Bitcoin node

Hello,

sorry for the basic question, but im installing a bitcoin node following the electrum wallet instruction. My problem is with Bitcoin core, since im getting a error:

2015-01-31 00:35:00 connect () to ip failed after select(): Connection refused (111) or i get network is unreachable (101)

Can anyone help, please?

if i go to bitnodes.io it says the ok to the server, but its not working, since the blocks are not downloading.

have you tried just running bitcoin core on its own and see if its syncing. might be your firewall stopping it connecting.

At this point im only synchronizing the bitcoin core. For some reason it start sync , now its stuck at 322082, i will wait more a few hours to see if it start sync again.
