I second that. Circle is hands down the best site to buy BTC with a credit card. The whole process from setting up your account to having your BTC ready takes no more than 5-10 minutes. You can even use a Visa prepaid card if you're concerned about giving out your CC details.

Didn't I gave you yesterday the Wiki bitcoin link with all the websites that accept Credit Cards to buy Bitcoin ? You can try https://www.virwox.com , and here is what they accept (fees may be high sometimes , check the list below) After depositing using the one of the listed methods below , you can withraw your money using BTC by providing them your Bitcoin adress then the money will go to your wallet - PayPal: Unfortunately, PayPal charges us fees for its services, which are deducted from your deposit. Also, the fee varies with currency, location of customer, payment method used, transaction size, and the size of our previous transactions with PayPal; so the exact fee is only known to us after the transaction has taken place. As an example, the current fee for deposits in Euro for customers with their PayPal account kept in Euro is 0.35 Euro plus 3.4% of the transaction.
- Credit/Debit Cards, Skrill (Moneybookers): Similar to PayPal, Skrill charges us fees for its services, which are deducted from your deposit. The current fee for deposits in Euro for customers with their Skrill account kept in Euro is 0.39 Euro plus 3.5% of the transaction.
- paysafecard: There are over 350,000 sales outlets where you can buy the paysafecard. For this service, paysafecard charges us a fee of 20%, which will be deducted from your deposit.
- Ukash: For this service, Ukash charges us a fee of 15%, which will be deducted from your deposit.
- SOFORTbanking: For this service, SOFORT AG charges us a fee of 2.5% of the transaction value, with a minimum of 0.25 Euro (if the transaction value is below 10 Euros), which will be deducted from your deposit.
- Other Deposits: Other deposits (i.e. deposits of SLL from SL or Avination) are free.

You could try circle as others have mentioned, but if you're having trouble why not just withdraw the cash from the credit card and try by any other way. You could buy face to face on local bitcoins or try set up a trade on here using some other payment transmitter like skrill or western union.

Seems like the easiest way to do this is to use faucets. It'll take awhile but what other choice do I have?

As told you should try visiting localbitcoins.com . Its really a nice place to find people around you who are ready to trade. Localbitcoins would also make you meet some users who are ready to sell bitcoin for cash. So you can easily purchase them using cash without involving banks anywhere.
