My Client is open and I see nothing. Is somthing wrong?Huh

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

you have to wait for all the others clients in the network validated that transaction :-|, with 0.01 BTC will take like ~30 min.

With such a small amount it might take a little while if there's a line to get into the next block. Also your client probably hasn't downloaded the whole blockchain of history so it will take at least that long. We are at the 125882th block, so check if your client has this number of blocks downloaded yet..

FYI, you can plug in an address on blockexplorer.com to see what transactions affected that address.

E.g., you can see your transaction here: http://blockexplorer.com/address/19mWPgy6WBA8JzKjTYe5T3mSpz92Lczk6W so you know it's been accepted by the network.

My client is on block 37454. its been there for a long time

Downloading the entire block chain could take hours. If it hasn't moved from 37454 in 10-15 minutes, I'd restart the client.

im running it in ubuntu 11.04, and it is glitchy, that may be the problem

This is not right. You see transactions as 0/unconfirmed before they even get in a block, it's roughly instantaneous. You don't see this one because you don't have all the blocks yet.
