Why all Ponzi sites need to be protected from DDOS attack?

Who is interested in taking down them, maybe competitors (other Ponzi sites) ?

Nowadays, every single website need DDOS protection, DDOS is so common and if you don't have a protection you would get targeted almost immediately.

Else DDoS protection, some ponzi use SSL also, I think that's useless because there is no login session on their website Undecided

Stop giving your money away to ponzis and you'll soon see why it doesn't matter.

Yes, you are right about this.
Usually just a few ''big'' marketers earn some profit in ponzis, and most of others members loose everything.
It's real crime online and someone should stop it.

They do it to hide the IP of the server, as (I assume) some ponzi owners are operating multiple sites under different alts and are likely hosting them on the same server. It also protects them from abuse requests, as the DDoS protection company are the ones receive the requests rather than the host.

I see that some ponzi "games" are having trouble with small amounts being sent with no fee, which are bringing the games to a halt.
Maybe they are sabotaging each other.

Okay, why not just setup a proxy server then?

It's most likely a protection from the competition. No typical investor is able to DDOS a site and even if he is, he won't bother unless the site is a threat to him or his business.

Does ddos requires requires any Resources to make a Attack like mining hardware in mining bitcoins
I want to learn this and attact a few websites who scammed me

even if you succeed, the site will only disappear for few hour or less then be back with no harm.

That would likely involve having to rent another server with a new IP for each website, which is kinda pointless as you might as well just use the new server for each website.

Cloudflare is free for small websites and easy to setup.
