This Forum Needs to Pull Up Its Pants. Now.

There's zero incentive for theymos&co to actually have a deadline for this forum.
They can set their own timeline and change it any time they want to, one month or 5 years from now.

In the meantime, maybe something like lighthouse can setup/fund 'the' bitcoinforum.

Bitcointalk does not need any funding at all..

nope ever since the avatar hack iv always thought of theymos as using this as a cash cow... sorry but lack of development or updates is pretty poor. . lucky thanks to a new kid on the block theymos better watch out the new kids websites better and the way its been setup in the cloud will make it much much more resilient

who's this new kid on the block?  i haven't had a chance to beat him up for his lunch money yet.

I never tried to set it up to be honest and barely know some ASP.NET , and the new forum will be written in Node.JS and I'am not really that fimilliar with that programming languages , I guess the only place you can ask for help is the Technical support section Good luck and sorry if I couldn't help you out

That's just one of the repos =). We've split the code apart over repos to better modularize the entire infrastructure.

Also, the slickage one is deprecated so don't follow that one.

Lastly, the dependencies have changed since first writing that README. Couch and redis are gone for now.

Theymos is not the developper of the new forum software , he hired other developpers and the budget is one  million dollar . and No it won't be that late , Yes on 2015 but not that late . the Beta release will be very very soon probably this month , then the Final release shouldn't take long after the Beta since the Beta is only to find bugs and exploits etc ... so yeah .

Look the link that I gave him , it contains how each member (trusted by theymos) are holding Bitcoins . BUt yes who knows , the forum is problably earning money for Ads & donations and that list is just not recently updated
