Just wanted to note we have finally solved our issues with kubuminer (regarding lost DKC/DCX mined on Binpool). If anyone had problem with coins lost on Binpool, contact kubuminer. He is mining DarkCredit now, so can reimburse for lost coins.

Regarding the wallet: I suppose the old one should be working too, right? But just to make sure - if I install the new wallet, it will get the same address as the old one, right? No need to backup "wallet.dat"?

BTW, current wallet required installation. I would prefer the wallet to be portable (as opposed to be "installable"), just like all other QT wallets. This makes the life easier, as you can handle all wallets the same way (as you guess, almost everyone here is dealing with many coins and many wallets, so having them all in the same place is more convenient).

the installer just extracts the DarkCredit-qt.exe so it's still portable.
Yes you should be able to just run the new Qt without backing up the wallet.dat
