1) It is written in law - Ruble (fiat currency) is the only legal mean of exchange. Coinage of another currencies is prohibited.
2) There is special law about electronic money. It allows only money which are issued by some centralized authority. This way that law ties electronic money to fiat money.
Mining is coinage of alternative international currency.
And bitcoin doesn't fit to electronic money law because it doesn't have an organization responsible for emission.
This is why it is prohibited in the territory of Russia.
And we have antiterror laws which can be used against any unauthorised activity.
And we have court system, which judge 98% of cases to jailing decision (The rest of 2% is exceptions for the members of bureaucracy strata). So if you get to court you will be jailed for sure.
The only reason, why bitcoins are used in Russia - is ignorance of laws.

That is why I am asking for i2p version of bitcoin.

I will just weigh in on this too... I have had some dealings with Supa and he has been trustworthy in all dealings and generally seems like an ok dude to me.. Of course he says weird shit... that is just who he is.. so what.. If we were all judged only on the dumb shit that we have said, that would be a bad world.
I'm permanently pulling the plug on my btc-e account, and not touching that exchange again with any of my coins...
p.s. Supa has been spamming more bullshit here while i typed this... if/when the count reaches 20, I implore you to disregard the "he is an ok dude" portion of this post.

Here we go with another round of 'kick the outsider'. If this guy has committed any crime then report all the evidence to the right police force, but this whole mess appears to be due to a misunderstanding. Posting this guy's IP on this forum isn't the right thing to do and might well be illegal in itself.
SupaDupaJenkins is no pedo, he is a helpful guy who gets a bit excited at times and has a slightly warped sense of humor. This sense of humor doesn't translate so well into Russian, this appears to have caused this whole misunderstanding.

Making this post in the first place, why? Did you not realize the implications of making a post like this on a public forum where a large portion of your exchange users read/post? It boggles my mind how anybody with even the slightest amount of business sense would even begin to think this was a good idea.
Now your damage control is just as bad as the decision to post in the first place. Threatening to ban people in your chat that bring the subject up or to mention that you might close the chat completely, there is no better way to attract attention and in fact make the situation worse. Remember it was your poor decision making that caused the situation in the first place, and as I am sure any PR agent would tell you...
