Refuse to obeid the order to kill other people is a great idea, and works for both parts!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPWyx8ICwbY#t=196

Well, it seems that this guy was absolutely right about his fate... Because he got a "fair" trial as the result of his publication. Viva democracy & freedom of press.

I cannot understand a single word, but I think this is the same outcome we should expect in every " democratic"  country, for someone refusing coscription and advocating his crime : he was putted in jail for army desertion and crime apology.

Oh no, it's much worse than refusing coscription.  Roll Eyes He's now "tried" for "treason" and "espionage". It's a pure bullshit, the prosecution doesn't provide any sort of evidence or proof. But I'm sure it's not funny for him.

Same sort of intimidation for putin's oppositors I guess... I mean, I sympathise for him and his decision of not taking arms against his fellow citizens....I do not sympathise at all with OP's decision of taking arms to " free" ukrainians neighbourhood from their government.

Hm... There is also a plenty of other "liberal" and "socialist" thugs such as Navalny, Nemtsov, Makarevich or Venediktov and I don't remember a single one with whom such thing happened. None of them were tried for "treason" or "espionage" after what they have done publicly.

To be more precise, I'd say that some russian "politicians" are using their "opposition" figure as a kind of protection against criminal charges. It's strange, but it seems that judges are afraid of them for some reason and won't give a real sentence. Just one example: Navalny, who was found guilty in embezzling of $500000 from Yves Rocher... What a joke, this guy got a house arrest injstead of real imprisonment, and he doesn't obey this sentence. I guess that he like such an intimidation. Grin

I don't know much about russian politics, but I think most of the political opposition have to be fake, they are all from the same oligarchy, like in usa and most of countries.

But i.e. I didn't liked how the Russian government treated the pussy riots, a punk band satirising putin.

As I said, I don't think we can clearly identify the " bad"  and the " good"  guys in this shit. But I think that everybody taking a weapon to kill others to force people to accept his favored government is pretty bad, refuse to kill would be much better.

Policy - dirty business. But it becomes deadly when turned against their fellow citizens. It happened in the Ukraine.

In 2013 I visited Kiev during a tourist trip. Beautiful city, adequate people. It's the summer of 2014 and
quiet people like changed. sometimes I watch the news Ukrainian channels and the feeling that came zombie apocalypse, but more terrible than it is in the movies of Hollywood.

I spoke with the captive soldiers APU, saboteurs and nationalists (right quadrant, Azov, etc.)
Modern zombie apocalypse eats part of the brain without touching the body.
