I am completely new to the whole Bitcoin world, i was sold a Antminer S4 and given some basic instructions but im struggling, i dont expect you all to start sending your hard earned tips but a little guidance would be good as i have explored many options and seem to get nowhere....

Basically i set up 3 miners, at best i had two working but for a short time, i have managed to have one miner working on its own now for 2 whole days but the other 2 miners read ERROR although on miner status say ALIVE.... im very confused as to what im doing wrong

Thanks in advance :-)

Can you go into more details?  What pool are you using?  Are you able to take a screenshot of S4 configuration page for it?

Did the person who sold them to you have any problems?

A screenshot would really help to explain your issue. I don't have any Antminer gear anymore, but if you are talking about hardware errors, be happy with only 3 errors after 2 days, it's nothing to worry about. If your chips are reporting dead, then I'd try restarting the miner and see if errors appear after a couple days of mining again.

I cant manage to get a screenshot onto this post, i will try and explain a bit better with more info, its very kind of you all to help :-)

On Ant miner i can configure 3 pools using stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 stratum2.bitcoin.cz:3333 stratum3.bitcoin.cz:3333 as the url codes, i then add my workers as my login+login sufix.... i click to save and apply and then i reboot my machine, on Ant miner it comes come with all 3 alive but only top one working making figures, when i go to my pool BITCOINCZ Mining and click workers the first one says ok and next two read error as status and never mine at all, am i maybe missing something easy?? I think im getting a good speed at 1.2-1.3th/s? JUst my only miner has run in all for around 3 solid days overall and has earnt only 0.05 of a bitcoin which i believe is very little, i did try to add to other pools but without knowing what im doing it didnt work well and i just wasted time and managed to down all my workers...... Note to myself, i was right when i used to avoid computers :-)

Your current configuration for your pool is set to rollover after a failure.

Meaning, the miner will always mine at the first pool then will try the second one if the first fail.

I think there is way to mine like 33% for each of the 3 pool if you want. just not sure how to do it. But you won't be able to mine all 3 at the same time, it will be one after one.

And one miner can only mine on one worker per pool. (Meaning the one you set in your config)

As for your earning, it depends on how your pool reward works. No idea for BITCOINCZ

1.2-1.3TH/s is very low for an S4. Make sure your firmware is up to date: https://www.bitmaintech.com/support.htm?pid=00720140930114518599JXGHWWD80660

And slush allows you to specify your share difficulty, you should set it to 2250. With that, you should be running at 2 TH/s.
