I know nothing.... never owned one, never been interested in owning one, never even touched one. It's a gift for an old aged friend who collects coins and metals, he is going away traveling so i may never see him again and wanted to get him a gift which shares both our interests. please enlighten me with more information or links

thank you for the handy resources, i guess i have some reading and research to do... Also i think i will be looking for a silver, due to my friends interest in the metal markets and coins. out of interest what would you consider the right price for you MS-65 0.5 Brass coin?

There are a lot of sellers on this forum. If you don't get specific response to this thread, read through some of the Casascius threads and PM people directly.
Also, you can find these coins on eBay but recently the prices have been ridiculously high.

Somewhere around 0.7 would be a fair price for a 2013 coin.
