large fiat withdrawals from Bitstamp

I'm thinking of depositing a big pile of coins on Bitstamp, selling them, and withdrawing the money (through ripple).
It concerns me that Bitstamp will send me some cover-their-@$$ AML questions and force me to answer them before allowing withdrawals.  I've heard of this sort of thing happening to people who use Bitstamp.
Any here have withdrawn tens of $k from Bitstamp, and how did it go?

Definitely dont deposit a big pile of coins anywhere and withdraw all at once.  Move in bit by bit, if you want to lock in the price now i'd diversify holdings over many exchanges.

if large fiat withdraws are happening, its more of a assorting to risk managment incase the price falls again or something.

^This would be the best option, do it slowly and don't do it all in a day, so that they don't get suspicious and ask you for the credentials.

I know bitstamp also need to verify your ID before letting you withdraw fiat. You might get away with KYC policy if you withdraw ripple. Split your coins into small piles and use a new account everytime could help.
