If you get 2 gpu at a same price, which one will you choose to mine altcoin ??

GTX 970 and Radeon R9 290x ??

The price is same for those 2 cards in my place... Which one I should choose now ? I knnow AMD is Power hungry but does is hashes better than GTX ?? Please help me

depends on what, the gtx will do a lot better on neoscrypt.
Also the r9 290x is a little more than 1 year old and the 970 is only a few month old...

i am talking about over all mining performance... There are several algos.
If I consider hashing performance, which one will give better result....

I would personally go for the nvidia... which has rather good performance...
but it is your choice... (and I also have a 290x)
