If u r using Tor to connect blockchain.info, it is always better to use the blockchainbdgpzk.onion version.

That's the thing. I'm not using tor and it won't bring up the regular wallet.

Please use our new onion link https://blockchainbdgpzk.onion/

So this tells me I have to use tor.

i was pretty mad to see this too... it seems their normal wallet doesnt work on the clearweb anymore. then i tried to login and realized i changed a setting on my account so that people can't login to my blockchain.info wallet over tor. so basically, i can't access it anymore. luckily i had my private key stored so i didn't need blockchain to access the funds, but i'm pretty much done using them now.

A vanity address? I can't but make sure to again and again point out to make sure how you get your vanity addresses. Where did you get it from??? If you let someone generate that address, you are in great danger of them having control over your coins! Only generate those addresses using a save version of vanitygen!

Please answer this Qs.

Where did you generated your address? Did you use Vanitygen (https://github.com/samr7/vanitygen)? Did someone generated it for you? Did you used some website to do so?

I went and got new PC how would i put linux on it?

You will need either a blank DVD or a USB drive you can erase. Head over to ubuntu.com and download it - huge file, will take a VERY long time. There are instructions on the site on how to make a bootable DVD or USB stick and make it work - should be pretty basic.

When you boot from the DVD/USB, make sure you "Try Ubuntu without installing" first, since installing will overwrite Windows permanently! (Yes, this is not technically true, but I'm trying to make this as easy as possible)

Make sure most basic things work - you should be able to open firefox and browse bitcoin talk at least. If you're satisfied it will work, go ahead and install. It'll take about 20 minutes.

If you need tech support for it, you can always write me (or BtcBoss, I would imagine). Just know what you're getting into before you do it!

Also, my condolences.

Yeah, you can write me if got any question or any problem with linux  Wink

Use linux is a nice solution but can be hard the first days, after some time you will love it.

You're Girl scout?

yes :-( I guess electrum is safer wallet and will be trying to use it from now :-(

Can you explain better "what is happened"?

I signed onto blockchain.info to send some BTCs somewhere and my balance said 0.00 i looked and thhat was the last transfer to that address every fkn coin ughhhhh this sucks

As CrackedLogic told , check your pc  (and for the moment generate a new address on a new clean computer).

And y'all want bitcoin to go global… lol now what exactly is a clean computer and how do i keep it clean… I dusted it yesterday… Is that what you mean by clean… Keep dreaming you bitcoiners.

I am watching this space and I am hopeful we will get a security method that works, but THIS… is a problem.

No Sorry... Original post does not say anything about the vanitygen...

https://blockchain.info/address/1CQodKNYzPSapLW31z8LbTUKZ4e1Mbvg4h

this is the address that stole my BTC ;-( it was off a vanity i created and had on blockchain.info.... guess i will be moving wallets to non online :-( i wanna cry :-(

People are asking where did u get the vanitygen from ? Or did u use some website for vanitygen ? blockchain.info does not offer any vanitygen.

I said blockchaininfo was dammed secure earlier but WTF is going on with it now? Directs me to an onion addy for wallet access. Not cool. I don't do anything sensitive with ffnn tor.

If u r using Tor to connect blockchain.info, it is always better to use the blockchainbdgpzk.onion version.

Is it safe tho? I dont feel safe putting sentitive information in tor like passwords and whatnot. Can the pass leak through a NSA node or some shit?

He stole the money.. i dont think the man has a lot of moral value, he'll probably hold it or gamble/invest with it, or blow it on hookers.
