I'm about to install a dedicated 240v line for my miner at home. (Canada)

Going for 30 amp.

I'm looking for a PDU solution that doesn't cost to much $$$.

All i need is C13 connectors for my ATX PSU. (Like 10 would be great)

Any suggestion ?

Thanks.

Get whatever is cheapest on eBay or Amazon that suits you. I like my PDUs to have an LED display on them that shows amperage being used, but they cost a bit more.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00070QHYG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1  a summing you have L6 30 amp plug http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00002NAT9/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Ebay may have it cheaper and its metered  not bad imo i have one  but can't use it yet i need to have a sub panel wired in which is gonna happen when it gets hot out with 2 240 30 amp lines to cold here to turn off all the power in my house to do it some one that lives here is 80 years old.

or http://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-PDUMV20HV-Metered-208V/dp/B0012VR94Q/ref=pd_sim_sbs_e_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=10VW6KYJTGQAEPPN1RV0 depends on the input plug L6 30R  seems to be the best way to go, they can cost a lot but worth it, get a used one for now then look for a nice flat rack mount one but they really cost for the good ones Smiley .

Hi Herb

Anything from Tripplite, you can't go wrong.  Follow the link below to see which pdu is best for you.  Once you have, you can see what the prices are at cdw, amazon, ebay, etc...

Good luck and let us know how it worked out.

My experience with Tripp-Lite was terrible. We had two PDUMH20ATNET units at a colo facility and both suffered the same failure about six months apart. Basically a diode (D55) burned out in both cases. It turns out that this was a typical failure for that model.

Since that set of failures, we've used nothing but APC units for our critical data center installations. The only failure we've had was a stuck/broken start button. We've never seen an actual electrical failure.

That having been said, please consider this information anecdotal. Any electronic system recommendation is based on personal experience and rarely is statistically significant.

That having been said, Tripp-Lite failures cost our company significant downtime and added to my stress level. I won't trust them again as a result of that experience.

Was I helpful?   BTC: 3G1Ubof5u8K9iJkM8We2f3amYZgGVdvpHr

I have both tripp-lite and apc failures
