I think this is great! Strange though. Why the Czech Republic? What is unique to that country that inspires people to embrace Bitcoin?

Its not about a single country. One by one... everyone will join the league.

I think the reason is that they had a well connected nucleus of Bitcoiners from the beginning. All it takes to make change happen is a dedicated community that takes action and spreads the word.

Another reason could be that the state is less regulating and facilitates innovation by not intervening with oppressive AML/KYC-bullshit for example.

This. The Czech republic had the first Bitcoin mining pool and their government has been extremely friendly with laws around virtual currency.

Hi all, regarding to my opinion it is great for all Czech people. Because CZ laws are currently not managing cryptocurrencies and it seems that there will be no change in near future.
I am personally czech citizen and I see great potential in Bitcoin. Our government makes ideal conditions to spread it because of just not caring about it (so far).

However it would be nice to see most of world finally accept this "new" phenomenon.
Bitcoin is here and it is getting stronger every day. Regarding to this fact, it is only matter of time for Bitcoin to be worldwide accepted.

We will see what time will bring.

Hi, to withdraw in CZ, I recommend "smenarnabtc.cz" I use it regularly wven for buying BTC. They have good prices in CZK or EUR. They also pay transaction fees if you buy BTC.
Or try to check "arbolet.net" - quite young project, but huge potencial which will be obvious in few years  Cool

I am not familiar with Coinbase and their regulations in certain countries, do they allow for withdrawals in that area?

I absolutely agree. Country does not need to be big and well known. I think quite opposite is good. Because as CZ is small country and not much known in the world, theese are great conditions to support Bitcoin from there. Because almost no authority is not following up such small country. And one day maybe Czech republic will stand next to big ones in cryptocurrency world.

this is evidence of positive bitcoin action, as more and more countries are receiving bitcoin.
so are you bitcoiner still worried about bitcoin destruction, whereas more and more countries are receiving bitcoin?
maybe this could be a benchmark for those of you who still doubt the bitcoin.

i'm living in czech republic and this is an amazing news, consider there are couple of ATM as well in the city center and people are really well aware of BTC.
There are also big companies here (IBM, Red hat and so on) and the foreigner employees are keeping high the interest in thic soin, many collegaues of mines are aware and active in the market.. it's a small country but it has an huge potential!

I can only say that bitcoin destruction is very unprobable. And it is not a bubble as some people say. Because bubble has its own barriers and will splash one day.
But bitcoin and other cryptos has barriers only in investors trust (still increasing) and and in can reach complete capital of whole world (as money in cryptos are still increasing, I stand for my opinion)

There is something about people from Czechia that make them very similar in many (good) aspects to German people (they work hard, highly value order in things etc.) but on the other hand they are slovians (like Polish and Russians) so they love freedom and liberty. This is a powerful mixture. Every time I visit that country I am impressed.

Best regards from Poland to Czechia!

Hi!

Quite interesting indeed... Maybe it is also true for other countries, not only Czech Republic, but as it is quite impressive in the later medias highlight it.

Anyway, there is no borders for bitcoin, it is also why it is so interesting! I hope the community will keep on growing!
