It's a good idea to write all passwords in paper.

Of course, keep safe these passwords, don't let other people to 'pwn' it from a web cam: Grin

do u know anything about the password? i searched and found that there's a place called Wallet Recovery Services. heres the link to there site: http://www.walletrecoveryservices.com

maybe if you know some of your password then can help you get it back but i don't know about a secondary password on blockchain, hopefully they can work on that too.

You can contact http://blockchain.info. They might be able to help you out. Undecided

edit: Without your backup, they can't get your wallet either...

Thats only for desktop wallets or if the OP has a backup. It is impossible if OP secured the backup with double encryption.

OP can try to contact support or the password can be reset by using the memoric phrase first seen when creating your wallet.

You should state your issue to blockchain support team they can do something for it but not sure they will.
Try them raise a request there - https://blockchain.zendesk.com/

The title is self explanatory... Is there anything to be done?
what is "double encryption password on blockchain.info" do you mean that your wallet backup file was encrypted or you mean you had 2FA enabled on your account

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

There is little you can do. Best would be to remember forgotten password, do you know lenght, or is it sentence, if it got numbers in it etc? This can help you remember.

That's why you always back it up somehow. Well I don't really know but I think you're screwed. As much as I know, blockchain doesn't save your password or anyinfo on their server, so they cant help you. How much did you lost?

btcrecover supports searching for blockchain.info passwords, including double encryption/second passwords (you must use the --blockchain-secondpass command-line option). It's free and open source, but it does require a bit of reading to get it up and running. The tutorial is available by clicking here.

Let me know if you have any questions about it.

Edited to add: a number of individuals have commented that blockchain.info support will be able to help... unfortunately that's not true. Blockchain.info claims (and I have no reason to disbelieve them) that they have no access to either your main nor your second password.

Do you remember ANY details of the password? a part of it, the length?

If you have can remember some of it you may be able to crack it.

If you cannot remember any of it and it was a strong password you won't be able to crack it.

Do you have any old backups?

blockchain does not save your pw, it never crosses their server

nothing can be done anymore, go ahead and make another account, and this time with plenty of backup of everything, sometime i wonder if it's worse to get the pass lost or the bitcoin stolen...
