I have set up evaluation / assessment scripts that add up all of a Corp's assets, deduct its liabilities, and divide the result by the number of shares.

Their findings for General Development Corp (GDC) are that its net worth is 1305.39473684 DVC per share.

That is pretty good for a Corp that launched so recently at an initial offering price of 20 DVC per share.

Note that it is not the last traded price nor the lowest or highest or average traded price but simply an actual accounting of the assets held by the Corp and the liabilities of the Corp. Whether anyone who picked up its offering will part with any shares, and if so at what price, is entirely up to them.

Initially this Corp was mentioned in the DeVCorp thread; thanks are due to General Financial Corp for its essential help and contribution to GDC's setup, launch and success.

shows sGDCrate=1379186.69899183, meaning the Latest Rate for sGDC ("shares" of GDC) is 1379186.69899183 DeVCoins per "share", which even after all this time having passed might still look not too horrible for something that was 20 DVC per "share" initially.

It could be important to note that I have scare-quoted "shares" and "share" due to all the game assets referred to in the game as "shares" are not, in planet known as Earth jurisdictions, to be confused with things on that planet that might there be referred to as "shares", because of course we are talking here about mere game-assets not any kind of actual "securities".

Partly to help players keep in mind that game assets having that designation, indicated in the Latest Rates include-file by the prefix s (lowercase s), are game items not securities, such assets have not been implemented on the Stellar platform and very likely will not get implemented on the Stellar platform.

Rather, they are implemented on the HORIZON platform which for many years now has been a game platform used for game assets, being as how it was long long ago abandoned / orphaned from a time long ago when its original developers might have intended it to be more of a "real life" or "planet known as Earth" platform.
