I just got an email from New Scientist magazine saying they are giving away a Bitcoin.
That's an odd bit of press, but getting word out to a wider and new audience, what do you make of it?

It says win, not give in the URL, so I assume it's a competition.

That´s a smart thing to do as all bitcoiners are about to loose their citizenship sooner or later if they don´t abandon Bitcoin.

ok but the associated spiel is quite good:

What would you do with a bitcoin? Spend it on apps or games? A flight or a night at the theatre? How about a splurge on coffee beans, hand-made rugs and pizza? The list of what you can buy with bitcoins is growing.

Maybe you'll just squirrel it away and watch how the rollercoaster unfolds. A bitcoin is worth about $230 at the time of writing, but its value is volatile: pedictions for what one bitcoin will be worth in three years' time range from tens of thousands of dollars to nothing at all. New Scientist is giving away one bitcoin – so what will you do with it?

I stopped trading Bitcoin due to the possibility that the blockchain could collapse if the price falls below 50$, which would probably be the price where all miners shut down.
Most of the fractional reserves exchanges will also run away with the little money that´s left, when the bankrun starts after the upcoming crash.

Inca please have a heart and stop luring more people into the BTC scam. BTC already produced countless broken souls. Stop telling them lies about upcoming bull markets and >500$ coins. You already took away enough money from the newbies.  Don´t be greedy! Thanks in advance!

Best wishes and greetings

You said it could only go up in August, now you are saying it's finished?

He´s trying to FUD down the price by locking the Wall observer thread, tryin to rebuy lower! You sold too low, but this action of yours is immoral. A class suit will probably follow!

ADAM , stop it! This won´t work out! Outbreak is inevitable!
