please keep in mind this bot isnt a magician. if the market is extremely sideways and choppy like it has been the last 24 hours its best to shut it off and turn it back on when market is trending more so in one direction.

definitely agree with this.

its picked a few good good entry points today, so nearly got last nights loses back.

it would be great if it made every trade 100& profitable.....

i've set stop loss for -50% at the mo just using smallish trades as its so choppy.

thanks again for building this.

have you any plans to expand i.e. it would be good to be able to continually make small trades as the market is moving in one direction, e.g. taking 1-5% profit as the market is rolling...

I understand this bot requires BTC to be deposited for it to continue working after a profitable trade. However something must be done about the consistent losses and compensation against the BTC for it to be balanced so the bot really takes BTC when it makes true profitable trades. After about a dozen trades this bot has made a deficit in the trading account I am testing on. To me personally, it makes absolutely no sense to deposit additional BTC if past trends continue on the bot which I will lose BTC to use the bot when I make one profitable trade after 7 negative trades. So I lose BTC running the bot while it is making me lose BTC.

I think settings were updated but twice it has outputted it has closed x trades at x% but I had to manually close trades.

I think as the op said need to give it a week or so with small trades and see the average.

It won't turn a profit every time, but overalls should do...

Exactly the same experience for me, started it Friday and looked at the results today (Monday) and my overall balance on OKcoin is down, the bot makes one good trade after several bad ones and then the bot stops working and demands money to keep going?
No thanks.

If it asked for money when the overall balance of the account is up, sure.
But this way, no thanks.

I agree the bot should only take money for trades when in overall profit from all trades and nothing when running at a lost.

If they are confident in their bot's performance over time this should be no problem to instigate, otherwise they are asking traders to pay them money for the privilege of losing them money!

Would be nice not working a having a script earning your wages lol.

So this bot still takes money on losing trades?

Mmm didn't see that, think that will stop me using this.

I'm just testing right now, but it should be that % of winning trade is ok, but not on losing trades.

It will only encourage further development if that was the case to make it as solid as possible.

I can confirm that issue too, not closing out trades properly on bernanke.

In any case, the bots are going great for me so far. got 50% off penner over weekend. and bernanke made a good trade this morning as well (just had to manually close it).  Will see how it does over the coming weeks  Grin

we listened to our users and decided to reduce fees to 20% of net wins. there is a bit more coding to do as we are working on how we can optimize the profit/loss calculations, when it is settled etc.

So far, I've only had 0.015 btc taken from me.  I'm at a loss now, but I think it might have been slightly positive for a bit.  More BTC haven't been taken from my account.

Started using this bot over the weekend.

Must say was loosing money when it was going long.

I have never done any futures trading so was great to get into it this way.

I have found the bot great if you cant sit and watch all the time.

But when I can watch the trades I tend to have bot running as backup and am always changing the % based on trends I am seeing.

I would like the bot to be more real time. I lost a few trades because of its slow refresh.

Though over all like this little bot and its given me new hope in being able to trade.

So thanks to all the guys behind this project.

Also who can I contact regarding BTC transfers? I would love to keep it but you sent me too much. about .2BTC when i did a withdrawal from autochange over the weekend. Let me know where I can send it back too. Cheers

Seems to me that taking a cut out of the net gain on the account say for 24h periods, not individual trades, would be more fair. I'm down on my trading account and the BTC deposited on the site at the moment after several days running. Refresh rate also needs to be improved. I've watch my profit taking percentage be reached on trading acount and disappear before the bot has updated. Using Bernanke with recommended settings btw.
