Obama openly admits 'brokering power transition' in Ukraine

In an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria, Barack Obama acknowledged that the United States had "brokered a deal to transition power in Ukraine," thus admitting to the highest level of democratic impropriety imaginable.

Before we consider Obama’s stunning remarks, and how the Ukrainian people sold their country for a song, let’s rewind to November 2013, when then-President Viktor Yanukovich had shocked western capitals (and, more importantly, western markets) by suspending plans for an association agreement with the European Union.

As if on command, thousands of Ukrainians suddenly poured into the streets of Kiev to protest the decision. Such a rapid reaction should not have come as a surprise. After all, a multitude of US government agencies – most notably, USAID - had been operating in Ukraine since the collapse of the Soviet Union, investing billions on its latest "democratic" pet project.

This is no conspiracy theory. On December 13, 2013, Assistant Secretary of State Victoria "F*ck the EU" Nuland, following her third trip to Ukraine in five weeks, told the National Press Club: "Since Ukraine's independence in 1991 the United States has…invested over $5 billion to assist Ukraine in needs and other goals."

And it turns out there's US troops/special forces on the ground in the Ukraine 'training' domestic forces and God knows what else but with a minimum of $5 Billion in assistance already in hand, this is a powerful intervention. There's more I'm sure and that monetary figure is nothing to smirk at. Lots of mileage can be had with this kind of help.

Ukraine is sovereign and should be given the chance to defend itself against soviet expansionism.  I don't see how being diplomatic and brokering a power transition is any sort of democratic impropriety.  The author clearly has an agenda.

RT is a state run media outlet called "Russia Today" which is financed by and for the Russian government so there clearly is an agenda behind the article. That said, Russia has every reason to be pissed and trying to expose this as you've got a powerhouse country on the other side of the globe tinkering in Russia's hemisphere, right next door. Furthermore, I'm tired of the US taking taxpayer money that we all pay for and giving it to other countries around the world when we're the brokest country in the history of the world. Borrow money from China to give it to Ukraine meanwhile the standard of living is dwindling.

Russia was subsidizing Ukraine to the tune of $5-10 billion per year, in reduced gas prices. Now it is the turn of the EU and the US to do the same. Let me see from where they will find the money.

Ukraine lost its sovereignty in February 2014 after the coup d'etat and displacement of its legitimate president. The current Ukrainian "government" was de facto appointed by Biden and contains foreign nationals. Not a single Porosheno's move is done without a prior "by your leave" from Biden or Nudelman.

But Ukraine was steadily losing its sovereignty over the 25 years after the collapse of USSR, as American NGOs took root in all spheres of Ukrainian society, as Soros-funded falsified history books altered the mentality and conciousness of the young generation, and as Ukrainian oligarch sold national interests.

Interestingly, Russia was on the same express route to abyss during the 90s, and the destruction was halted when Yeltsin left the office and Putin somewhat reigned in the stealing bastards (oligarchs). This never happened in Ukraine.

And Ukrainians should not think that USA has their best interests at heart. The current destruction of the country is the best indicator of that. For US tops, Ukraine is nothing but a tool, a lever to get at Russia, it's viewed as expendable lose change.

In the above interview, Obama is back to justifying what were spectacular fails by the US in 2014, namely, Crimea and Donbass. No, Crimea wasn’t any grand master plan by Putin, says Obama. It was merely a reaction to the circumstances AFTER WE BROKERED THE POWER TRANSFER IN KIEV (read: ukro-nazi coup of February 22, 2014 that led to bloody civil war that continues destroying Donbass and killing thousands of people).

Mr. Obama, you bet Putin was reacting to circumstances you and your friends created. If not for the US, there would have been no bloody mess in Ukraine, Donbass would have not rebelled, and Crimea would have still been a part of Ukraine.

So, for what it’s worth, the citizens of the Russian Crimea are saying: “Thank you, Mr. Obama!” Thanks to you and your government’s miscalculations, Crimean people’s 23-year-old dream of re-uniting with Russia came true.

Citizens of Russia are also very grateful to you. They are thankful for the sanctions, which allow them to develop their own industry and agriculture that was disadvantaged by the proliferation of the Western produce on the Russian market. Given time, these sanctions will also allow Russia to properly rebuild its financial and monetary system, nationalize Central Bank and re-gain full sovereignty of the Russian currency. This is the beginning of the end of the dollar system.
